Warranty & Returns

Standard Warranty:

All of our trees and shrubs come with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. This means that if your tree/shrub is damaged in shipment or if it dies within 30 days of your delivery, we will gladly offer a replacement or credit. Should you receive your tree/shrub during dormancy, and it does not emerge from dormancy by June 1st - the same replacement policy applies.

1 Year Extended Warranty Option:

For added peace of mind, we offer a 1 year extended warranty option. You can choose to purchase an extended warranty for 12% of your cart total at the time of purchase. This extended warranty covers your trees and shrubs for 1 year from the date of delivery. If your tree/shrub dies within the extended warranty period, we will provide you with a replacement plant or issue store credit for the amount of your original purchase. Shipping fees are not included.

  • We may request additional photos or other information to assess the problem.
FAQ

How are heights measured?

Tree and Shrub heights are measured from the top of the root ball or soil, measuring only the above ground portion of your tree or shrub.

How does shipping work?

Many items are listed in Gallon sizes, what does that mean?

The Gallons refer to the size of the pot that the plant is in. It's simply an industry standard for sizing trees and shrubs. All of our items should have the actual height listed on the description page. If you have any questions regarding sizing, feel free to reach out to us!

Description

Elevate your garden with the vibrant allure of the Allegheny Monkeyflower (Mimulus ringens). Known for its stunning blossoms and easy-going nature, this native North American perennial is a must-have for any garden enthusiast.

Growing Zones: Thriving in USDA hardiness zones 3-8, the Allegheny Monkeyflower is adaptable to a variety of climates. Whether you're in the cooler northern regions or the milder southern zones, this hardy perennial will grace your garden with its charming presence.

Basic Care Tips:

  1. Sunlight: Plant your Allegheny Monkeyflower in a location that receives partial to full sunlight. These adaptable beauties can handle a range of light conditions but prefer at least 4-6 hours of sunlight daily for optimal blooming.

  2. Soil Requirements: Provide well-draining soil for your Monkeyflower. A slightly acidic to neutral pH is ideal. Adding organic matter to the soil enhances its fertility and moisture-retaining capacity.

  3. Watering: Monkeyflowers appreciate consistently moist soil. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil evenly moist. However, avoid waterlogged conditions, as they can lead to root rot.

  4. Spacing: When planting, allow adequate spacing (around 12-18 inches) between each plant. This not only accommodates their growth but also improves air circulation, reducing the risk of diseases.

  5. Fertilization: Apply a balanced, all-purpose fertilizer in spring to encourage healthy growth and prolific flowering. Follow package instructions for the correct dosage.

  6. Pruning: Trim back spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and maintain a tidy appearance. In late fall, consider cutting back the plant to ground level to promote robust regrowth in the following spring.

  7. Winter Care: In colder zones, provide a layer of mulch around the base of the plant in late fall to protect it from winter frost.
